"Ulasse ŭ Lukah" is a winter feast in honor of St. Ulas - the guardian of domestic animals. That day cattle were fed with the best fodder, and special ritual ceremonies were performed in order to protect animals from evil spirits. In the Luki agrotown it is also known as "Horse holiday", cause this day traditionally young horses are tamed.

The program of the holiday includes: theatrical procession; competition for the best design of the cart; a fair (sale of grain, wicker baskets, clay products); folk amusements and fortunetelling; sleigh rides; festive lottery.
